How CBD Affects The Human Endocannabinoid System (ECS)

The CB2 receptor has been shown to be directly tied to major disease states like cardiovascular disease, gastrointestinal disease, neurodegenerative disease, and more. If any changes with CB2 occur, the above list of conditions and more could begin to take place within the body.

Does CBD Affect The ECS?

CBD indirectly affects the ECS. On the other hand, THC directly affects the ECS via the CB1 and CB2 receptors. CBD directly affects the TRPV1 Receptors in the body. These receptors are directly involved in the regulation of inflammation, body temperature, and pain, as mentioned above.
